When anyone denote “spring”, it is a natural discharge point of subterranean water at the surface of the ground or directly into the bed of a stream, lake, or sea. One of the stunning spring in Goa is Udear Spring Waterfall.

Udear spring waterfall is a natural spring & located at Verna Goa which is few yards away from Ambulor Lake. If anyone wants to spend calm and peaceful time then this is the best place to visit. Udear spring is surrounded with lush green trees. Best time to visit Udear Spring is in rainy season as during summer it get dried-up.

Waterfalls in Goa

Orzim Waterfall:

Goa’s jewel is its beaches, graceful sunset but there are many hidden and unexplored waterfall, adventures point, treks etc. In Goa and most of them are in right inside the villages and one of them is Ozrim Waterfall and it’s a Seasonal waterfall it appears only in rainy seasons. These waterfall is in extreme north of the state which comes in Pernem Taluka. One can spend entire day at these waterfall which will help you to have a soothing holiday. During weekend in rainy season requently visited by locals for the day picnic. It’s always better to carry some eatables along as there are not much stores/ shops nearby.

Hidden Treks of Goa

 

Udaan Dongar   The flying peak

Goa is not only place of visiting beautiful beaches, temples and churches but there is also another section of lush green forest, mountains, beautiful treks and water falls.  Our travel and tour operators have never included such places in their travel itinerary as this treks opens only after the end of tourism season in Goa.      

There are several trekking groups in Goa who frequently operate only during monsoon period of 3 to 4 months and explore forest covered areas, waterfalls and treks.  Udaan Dongar is one of such places in Goa which attract the trekkers and adventures people from June to September every year. 

Location

Udaan Donger is in Caranzol village in Valpoi which is located in Satari tehsil of north goa district of Goa, India.  It is located 18 kms from sub – district head quarter valpoi and 72 kms from district head quarter Panaji.  Once you reach caranzol village there is a long hill trek of 16 kms which takes approx 2 hours to reach on top of the hill. 

How to reach here

If you are small group and adventures then bike would be the best would be the best option, you can also hire private bus for the larger group.  From Panaji its approx 2.5 hours journey.
